Tamiya 31501 1/700 Waterline Japanese Military Transport Set
This set contains assembly kits of a 1st Class Transport, which were designed to conduct forced reinforcment missions, and a 2nd Class Transport, which were used to carry tanks. The sloped stern of the 1st Class Transport was able to accomodate two "Kouhyouteki" special attack submarines or five landing crafts. The 2nd Class Transport comes with two Type 97 tanks and three amphibious vehicles. With a little effort modellers can turn them into the centerpiece of an amphibious landing diorama.
