
Revell 00460 1/4 Visible V-8 Engine
Faithful replica of a V8 engine in 1:4 scale. The eight-cylinder engine is also known under the name "Boxer". In the beginning it was mainly used in racing. Later it was also installed in passenger cars in the upper middle and luxury classes. The first known working V8 engine was produced by the French company Antoinette in 1904 for aircraft use, and the 1914 - 1935 Cadillac L-Head engine is credited with being the first automotive V8 engine.
